Yayoi Kusama くさま やよい vs Ai Weiwei 艾未未

Japanese female artist who has been suffering from mental disorder. Her work was famous for the accumulated dots and patterns. People with Trypophobia might get scared by her works.

She went to New York and other places in the world when she was young, she thus got inspired by the different kids of artistic elements. So she began her long path of dots art.

She said that everything in universe is made of accumulation, the stars are like dots.

Whereas, Ai Weiwei is a completely different "artist" who creates political radical works that might jeopardize other's image, and exploit their rights of debate. The comments on his work are completely polarized, one end is western media which appreciate his behavior and one end is the victim - China, whose rights have been damaged in his work.

I personally like Kusama more because her works are not offending or debatable, she was pursuing the relation between art and science and that is exactly what we've been discussed about.
